My mom never left the hotel (we stayed at the Monte Carlo). Physically, she's not up to much walking but she had a blast playing penny slots. One day, she played for 8 hours! I swam in the hotel's lazy river, bet horses, played penny slots and went to the movies. I lost $1.60 and though my mom didn't keep an exact count, we think she won a couple of dollars. We had a wonderful time and it was nice to get away.

oh wow *lazy sigh* it sounds absolutely wonderful ^_^ I'm so glad to hear you two got a minute to just lay back and enjoy *snugs* I've never been to LV so I had no idea they had 'penny slots' lol hmmm, maybe I would gamble if I went after all... though I didn't really enjoy it much on the one cruise I took loooooong long ago. Everything else was a blast though! I guess I'm just not a gambler but I know ppl who love it and usually end up at least even when they come back from out there ^_^

Thank you. It was wonderful. Vegas can be as exciting or as laid back as you want. If you ever decide to go to LV, I can point you in the right direction. I'm not a big gambler but I do enjoy spending some time gambling. Some of the penny slots cost a lot more than one penny to play but you can still find some slots where you can play one line and bet one cent. Those are up my alley! LOL!

and count on it! I'm already having a blast as it's till over a week away! lol I made a bone mask for my son so he can be a hallow from bleach, my daughter is going as Quistis and I put together a little token cosplayish thing to show my GW colors. Now if we can just get lucky and manage a room upgrade so we can stay at the convention ctr instead of down the street it'll be perfect!
