fanart of another kind ^_^
I suppose this is fanart dedicated to Mark's new musical aspiritions. I'm still loopy over GW however, so though I doubt he really wants his music tied to his anime character/s I can't help but see Hiiro and of course... he's singing to Duo. ^_^ I did this when I first got back from Metrocon while I was listening to his album which I am listening to at the moment so I remembered it and thought I'd share!

The album is called 'Complex State of Attachment' sooooo... yeah yeah... *sighs* but the music makes me happy even if the title of the artwork is lame lol

nope! But I got the feeling he just can't comprehend how Hiiro could still be so popular. I think GW was his only Gundam series wasn't it?

Oh he's done other cartoons but I think GW is his only anime. He and Scott talked about how they both started on the same show. He-Man! They didn't say who Scott played actually but Mark was like 10 and played the boy. I'm not sure what others he's done though.

And Scotts been in everything lol All the Gundam shows ane pretty much everything else too. He's the only one that's done like 7 voices in the same show I think. Though Brian is a close second I think. They've all got impressive resumes *nods*

Other cartoons, yeah... but I don't think he's been in any other Gundam series. (He's in Barbie! ^o^ )

cool ^_^ Theres one called 'You in Me' that's just too much for my poor GW addiction to handle lol There are so many love songs that I can't help seeing Hiiro singing to Duo but that one really makes me wonder if Hiiro wasn't the inspiration behind the song ^_^

yup! And you know, Marks not as tight ass about yaoi as he lets on in my opinion. There were a couple of times (once with the art I gave them) that Scott made his pic of Duo make kisses at Marks pic of Hiiro and Mark laughed. I got the feeling he just doesn't want it to become an issue in his future carreer. When you're trying to sell mucic to a bunch of teenage girls (love song etc.) being tagged as gay isn't going to help sales I suppose. I hope he does well though, I'd love to hear his songs with a more developed mix and back up.

there is a hikaru midorikawa song that he sings with his group EMU that i love and i always think about heero when he sings it. so i completely understand seeing that character when hearing the voice. and heero looks so cool. i love thinking of him being a musician.

EMU is the group that heero's japanese voice actor, hikaru midorikawa, sings with. hikaru sings on a lot of different things. love heero's image songs.

oh man... uh... I have the soundtrack to the show but are you saying that the VA's sang some of the songs? Or am I missing some? And what about this band Hiiro's Japanese VA sings in? It'd be cool to have that. ^_^

i have the complete song collection soundtrack. it's all the vocal tracks from the show which includes opening songs and ending songs for both the tv show and endless waltz. the insert song in both version of endless waltz and the image songs from blind target. heero has 5 image songs, duo has 4 image songs, and the other three gboys have 3 songs each. relena has 2 songs and treize, zechs, lady une, and dorothy all have 1 song each. there is no background music on this cd it's all songs. i also have the one song from EMU. unfortunately their cd's are hard to find.

Perfect visual for 'Ready To Fall'! *huggles* The expression is just so intense and emotional. I can see Duo sitting in the audience and listening raptly. Sandy, Link, and I discussed how the song was definitely Heero/Duo sounding to us (probably not what Mark would want, but we can't help how we feel), and we talked about a fic that would have Duo in a club and Heero suddenly begin doing this song for him, ending with the get-together. *sighs* This pic is one side of that equation for us. *bounce* Thanks for sharing! Your GW art is always most appreciated... and I LOVED the sketch before this post as well!

It's a beautiful thought nee? *le sigh* lol I wish I'd have gotten a recording of the Lennon song Mark did at his concert. I remember it was very nice but now I can't recall which one he sang *pouts* I do like his music though so it's all good ^_^
